I am a self-taught artist, mother of 2 boys, living on a farm in Arkansas with my musical husband.   I owe my start to my mother who painted on black velvet in the 70's.   She was the first to put a paintbrush in my hand and gave me my first lesson.   She taught me to 'draw what you see'.   I am also a photographer and that passion started when I wanted my own photos to work from in my studio.   I soon realized that photography was another way for me to express myself artistically and to 'capture what I see'.   Currently, I work in all mediums and love...more
