Nicole Gulin

Nicole Gulin search their inspiration mainly photos copyright and everyday situations, as well as concepts and insights. The simplification of the images on their traits refer to an internal reflection of their own values​​, beliefs and experiences.

She began working with art in 2005, when she produced the works that integrate the Series Autodidact. After five years, she leverages the career as a professional artist, is based on formal knowledge - through various art courses - and gives herself entirely to the artwork. In hers production is printed the influence of having migrated from civil engineering to art. With the work on definition and 'voracious' development, Nicole works with graphics and demonstrates great strength in the drawings, inserted in the composition of the work by the technique of assemblage - which brings together drawing, painting and collage.

Uses contemporary language in a design brief, which stresses the material and search more expression than form. From photographs of family and friends, work simplification of images in dashes.
