I am a self-taught freelance photographer. I have always been fascinated with everything having to do with photography and its power to capture moments in time. Five years ago I began to become more deeply involved in the art of photography, purchasing my first real camera, a Nikon d40. This camera and I were from that point inseparable until I left for training to enter the military. While I was unable to use my camera, I spent my time pouring over every book I could find to better my skills. I now use a Nikon D3100 and plan to be moving on to a D7000 eventually. I have a passion for the urban streets of cities as they sleep through the night, as well as the vibrant serenity of wild nature. I hope to be able to share these moments of my life with others as I grow in my photography. – Michael Williams
